Govt working with multifaceted plans for overall development: Ratan

Agartala, Sept 22: Agriculture minister Ratanlal Nath on Friday said the present state government has been working with multifaceted plans for overall development of Tripura.
He said, infrastructure development and uplift of standard of people’s living has been the top priority of the state government.
Addressing an event on the development initiatives at Mohanpur market, Nath said, the state government’s goal is ‘Ek Tripura Unnata Tripura’. He said, various development plans are being implemented in the districts, sub-divisions and blocks.
He said, the construction of a two-storied market stall has already been completed and construction of a modern town hall is underway at Mohanpur. Besides, new buildings of various schools are under construction. Three gyms have already been set up and five more would be constructed.
Giving more details, he said, construction of a synthetic football turf has already been completed at Tulabagan at an expenditure of Rs. 5 crore. A public library is also under construction.
The Agriculture minister said, the Mohanpur sub-division also witnessed a robust change in road infrastructure. The construction of a Bailey bridge is nearing completion, he said, adding that connectivity development plays a significant role in socio-economic growth of any area.
Executive Member of TTAADC Runiel Debbarma, chairperson of Mohanpur municipal council Anita Debnath and other dignitaries were present.
