Teliamura, Nov 13: A man was injured in a fire accident involving a cooking gas cylinder in the Dashamighat area of Teliamura on Wednesday afternoon. The injured individual has been identified as Partha Banik.

Authorities revealed that Partha Banik was preparing food for a social event at his home when a sudden fire broke out in the gas cylinder's pipe. In a panic, Banik attempted to extinguish the fire but unfortunately suffered burns as the flames spread to his body.

Upon receiving news of the incident, the local fire brigade quickly responded and managed to rescue Partha Banik. Banik was then rushed to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital for immediate medical treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, and the condition of the injured individual remains under observation.
