Agartala Nov 28: Organized under the initiative of CAG, with an aim to discuss and promote the adoption of environment- friendly energy solutions, a media workshop on ‘Clean Energy Transition & Electricity Governance’ was held at the Agartala Press Club on Thursday.

The closing meeting of the project was also held on this day in presence of key attendees including working president CPA George Cherian, Researcher CAG B. Kirubektaran, president CPA Adv Amrit Lal Saha, Senior Manager TSECL Nirmal Debnath, Secretary Power Department Abhishek Singh among others.

Abhishek Singh, Secretary, Power Department highlighted the importance of transitioning to clean energy sources. He emphasized that such workshops play a crucial role in educating the public about sustainable energy practices.

“This Clean Energy Transition and Electricity Governance Media Workshop was a significant step towards promoting sustainable energy practices in Tripura”, he said.

The day’s workshop delved into various topics related to clean energy, including; exploring the benefits and implementation of solar energy solutions, discussing the potential of biogas as a sustainable energy source, among others.

Abhishek Singh stressed the need for continued efforts and regular workshops in the future to maintain momentum in the shift towards clean energy.

He also provided detailed feedback on the discussions held during the workshop, reinforcing the commitment to a sustainable energy transition.
