Agartala, Aug 03: The Ministry of Railways has accepted the proposal of Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha’s proposal and decided to run another DEMU train in Agartala- Sabroom section.

Three pairs of DEMU trains are already in service in this section.

The Chief Minister extended gratitude Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving the new train. According to Dr. Saha, the new train would further strengthen the rail service in Tripura and benefit the people.

The train will have stoppages at Sekerkote, Bishalgarh, Bishramganj, Udaipur, Garjee, Santir Bazar, Belonia, Jolaibari, Thailik Twisa and Manu Bazar.

The train (07688) will leave from Agartala at 2.15 pm and reach Sabroom at 4.45 pm. In return journey, the train will leave from Sabroom at 5 pm and reach Agartala at 7.30 pm.
