Agartala, Feb 23: Prajapita Bharhmakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya on Sunday a peace rally here at Agartala to mark Shiv Ratri or Shiv Jayanti.

The rally began from Agartala Swami Vivekananda ground and ended at Aralia Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, where MLA and Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder was felicitated.

Speaking to the reporters, a sister of Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya highlighted the importance of Shiv Ratri or Shiv Jayanti and said that one has to know Shiv and offer puja to Him to know himself or herself. She said that Brahma Kumaris are helping build a pure and clean society and guide the people to move towards the path of peace.

She also informed that the Prajapita Brahmakumaris will mark the Shiv Jayanti till February 27 next through various programmes, alongside offering puja to the Lord Shiva.
