Agartala, Dec 27: Three youths of Tripura who have been imparted training under Skill Development in Delhi have been appointed in the field of Nursing in Japan.

The successful youths are- Deeptanu Sarkar (Dhaleswar), Tanya Das (Konaban) & Rishma Sheel (Dhalai). They earlier completed B.Sc Nursing from Tripura Medical College.

They underwent nine-month training for learning Japanese language in Delhi under the National Skill Development Corporation.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in a social media post on Wednesday hailed the achievement. He congratulated the successful youths at his official residence. 

"Their achievement is a matter of pride for our State & it will inspire our #YubaShakti," he wrote on X.

The Chief Minister also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Skill Development initiative launched in the direction of Viksit Bharat is generating employment opportunities to the youths of Tripura also at the international level.
