Agartala Nov 17: The ceremonial launching of “Amar Sarkar” Web Portal was held at the Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala here on Thursday.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha launched the Web Portal amid a program organized by RD (Panchayat) Department, Government of Tripura.
“Amar Sarkar” Portal of RD (Panchayat) Department, Government of Tripura is a web-based platform for the Panchayat Secretaries, Rural Programme Secretaries, Village Secretaries and Rural Programme Managers of various Gram Panchayats and Village Committees of Tripura for reporting various issues related to the line Departments of Government of Tripura.
The issues registered can be viewed by the users of Line Departments based on their jurisdiction.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha lauded the massive success of “Har Ghar Sushashan” Campaign”.
He said, “The public outreach program launched on the occasion of PM Narendra Modi’s birthday was aimed to bring benefits of flagship schemes of the central and state government to the people of Tripura from district to gram panchayat level”.
“The program was taken up with the aim of achieving hundred percent success and is being continued in a mission mode. This is proved from the immense response received at the Sushashan mela’s and Camps”, he added.
With the advancement in technology and with the growing modernization in every aspect, the state government is also working towards adapting various modern techniques including the benefits of modern technology. The advancement in this field has helped the state government to fight the dreadful Covid pandemic when we had to sit in homes but do all sort of works and meetings virtually, added the chief minister.
“The ‘Amar Sarkar’ web portal is a part of this adaptation of modern technology by the state government so as to reach out to the common people in a far better and easier way”, said Dr Saha.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha further added that the web-portal will help to bridge the gap between the public representatives at all levels and the common people of the state.
Stressing on the slogan of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas” Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said, the BJP-led state government is working hard for the overall development of the state and last man of the society.
Addressing the launch program Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma said, “The motive behind launching this web portal is aimed to take the government to the doorstep of the common people, to build a common link between the Gram Panchayat and the Cabinet so as to deliver the services more easily to the masses”.
“To make an ideal and vibrant Panchayat, GPDP (Gram Panchayat Development Plan) is utmost essential”, stressed Dy CM.
Special Secretary, RD including Panchayats, Dr Sandeep R. Rathod also remained present on the dais.
