Agartala, Aug 17: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday offered prayer at Mata Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur.

In a social media post, Dr. Saha said he offered prayer to Mata Tripura Sundari for the wellbeing of the state’s people. 

The Chief Minister along with others inspected the on-going development works at Matabari premises under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD).

He expressed satisfaction over the pace of works and asked the officials concerned to further increase the work flow.

During his visit to Matabari, the Chief Minister was accompanied by Tourism minister Pranajit Singha Roy, local MLA Biplab Ghosh, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha and other officials.

Meanwhile, Dr. Saha also chaired a meeting of Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Trust along with other officials. 

Earlier on the day, he took part at Manasa Puja at Durgabari in Agartala.
