Teliamura, Jan 3: The pride of the state, the Tripura State Rifles (TSR), not only fulfills its duties but also engages in various social activities, setting several examples in the past. 

Continuing this tradition, the 12th Battalion of TSR organized a social programme at its headquarters in Chakmaghat on Friday.

As part of the programme, a blood donation camp and a civic action event took place.

Amitabh Ranjan, IPS, Director General of Police, Tripura inaugurated the programme in presence of other dignitaries, including Khowai District Police Officer Ramesh Yadav, Commandant of the 12th-Bn Ratnadipta Das and others.

Besides, winter clothes and educational materials were distributed among underprivileged individuals and students in the area.
