Voting for BJP means Voting for Development: CM

Santirbazar Feb 04: Tripura chief minister Dr Manik Saha pressed for historic win of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura while banking on developmental works done by the party in 5 years of governance.
With the state scheduled to go for polls in next few days, the BJP has stepped up election campaign and leaders of all levels are travelling to various parts of the state to campaign for party candidates.
Saturday, chief minister Dr Manik Saha took part in ‘Vijay Sankalp’ rally at Laugang Bazar area under Santirbazar assembly constituency.
Addressing the huge gathering of party activists and supporters Dr Saha sought votes for BJP nominated candidate in Belonia Assembly constituency
Besides highlighting the developmental works of the party the chief minister castigated the Congress for allying with its arch rival CPIM that is ‘responsible for murder of several congress activists and leaders’.
Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr Saha said, “Vote for BJP, Vote for development as the double-engine government is dedicated for welfare of the last person in society”.
Belonia assembly constituency MLA Arun Chandra Bhowmik, State BJP Yuva Morcha president Nabadal Banik, candidate Gautam Sarkar and other BJP leaders were present in today's event.
Meanwhile, the chief minister also welcomed 59 new voters from 18 families to the Saffron camp by handing over party flags.
