Studying good books not only expands our understanding and thinking but also gives us self-knowledge and peace of mind. Books help us to give a clear and positive direction to our thoughts through which we can overcome our inner conflicts and troubles. In today's time it is very important to be alert andReading these books can help develop the ability to distinguish between good and bad. The light of knowledge hidden in books not only shows us the right direction, but also broadens and enriches our thinking. Nowadays, children's interest in books is gradually decreasing. The decreasing number of libraries and the decreasing presence of children in them is becoming a matter of concern. There can be many reasons behind this. The influence of the digital age is the most in today's children. The rise of smartphones, tablets and computersChildren are becoming more interested in digital content due to increased usage. Apart from this, busy lifestyle of children in studies and other activities is also a reason. The non-modernity of libraries is also responsible for low attendance in libraries. Even today, many libraries are functioning in the old way. Lack of publicity and information about library services also acts as a barrier to attract children. Steps to address this problem include incorporating digital content. Libraries E-books and audio-books can be arranged. Various competitions and programs can be organized to encourage children. Libraries can provide comfortable seating, internet facility and other attractive facilities. Parents and teachers should also play an active role to inculcate the habit of reading in children.
