PLEASE TALK AND ACT A BIT SANE

Just because certain lumpen goons in Bangladesh have allegedly "insulted" the Indian national flag, absolutely innocent vulnerable patients from that country would be denied treatment in a Kolkata hospital!

 

Nothing can be more bizarre atrocious and heartless than this!

 

Now based upon the fatal assaults upon the Indian Muslims in the name of "Gomata" Beef, harassment of the minority community through invocation of "love jihad", infringement upon their diet attire or mode of prayer - - - if the Gulf nations deny "petty" jobs to millions of Indians, who have flocked there for livelihood so as to escape drastic poverty in India; would the "proud nationalist" Indian Hindus appreciate it! 

 

 Based upon the assault upon the Christian Kukis in Manipur, harassment of the missionaries by accusing them of indulging in "conversion", vandalism of Churches or inhuman treatment meted to the selfless humanitarian Stan Swamy till his death in darkness of jail - - - if the Western nations deny jobs and medical treatment to the Indians; would the Indian Hindu "nationalists" appreciate it! 

 

"Nationalism" is fine, but it should not come at the expense of the vulnerability and human rights of innocent patients, whatever be their citizenship or religion! 

 

 Loving one's country does not mean hating the "Others"! 

 

 In this extremely insensitive context, the other Hospitals of Kolkata must be thanked for boldly asserting that a patient has no nationality creed caste or religion. 

 

 Lastly, it's a wonder why those "nationalists", who can't tolerate "disrespect" to the Indian flag, remain mum when fellow Indian nationals of "working class" are subjected to torture in slave-resembling conditions in the Gulf nations! While flag is definitely a symbol of the nation, human beings form the very nation itself.

 

And nowhere in the world can torture upon minority citizens in the name of race language religion colour be tolerated. But one must also learn to look inwards and check the state of affairs in domestic front too. After all charity must begin at home and also caution must be exercised whether 3 fingers are pointing back towards me when I raise my finger of accusation towards the others. 

 

So fly the flag of Bangladeshi Hindus as you please, but one must ask his/her conscience also and introspect whether he/she had ever registered minimum protest or felt pain in the heart when absolutely innocent fellow citizens like Mohammad Akhlaque Junaid Pehlu Khan Asgar Ansari Tabrez Ansari Afrazool Khan Sabir Mallik had been beaten to death or burnt alive on the allegations of consuming/transporting Beef or indulging in the mythical "conspiracy" of "Love Jihad"!

 

How many "proud nationalist" Indians/ Hindus have protested against the brutal gangrape and murder of the little Kathua girl, the Dalit daughter of Hathras or when the Kuki women were paraded naked! Did even a drop of tear get shedded on the plight of the Bilkis Banos of 2002 Gujarat, many of them even didn't survive to tell their horrific tale! Were they not children of the much zealously chanted "Bharat Mata"! Or do these silent "nationalists" (or dumb tacit supporters of the deadly mayhem) are of the view that Indians have every right to torture fellow Indians! What a deluge of hypocrisy indeed!

 

All must learn to appreciate that devils have no religion country race as such. Devils are nothing but Devils and so they train their guns and swords upon fellow community also! The much persecuted Dalit Hindus had/have been tortured by the Hindus (of so called "upper caste" vintage) themselves since centuries! Muslim Kasab didn't discriminate between Hindus and Muslims while engaging in frenzied shooting in Mumbai! The victims of the Afghan Taliban are often invariably Muslims! Surely maximum of the victims of the Islamists in Bangladesh are Muslims only (of secular vintage)! Narendra Dabholkar MM Kalburgi Govind Pansare Gouri Lankesh had to fall courtesy the bullets of Hindus only!

 

So character assassinating all members of any particular country or religion just because of cruel activities of few heartless elements is nothing but assault upon humanity itself.
