Amit Shah pays tribute to Maharaja Bir Bikram on Birth anniv; Calls him Architect of Modern Tripura

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has paid solemn tribute to Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur on his birth anniversary, hailing him as the “architect of modern Tripura.” 

In a message shared on his official X handle, Shah remembered the Maharaja as a visionary ruler whose welfare-oriented governance and farsighted leadership laid the foundation for Tripura’s progress.

Shah highlighted Bir Bikram’s enduring contributions in the fields of education, infrastructure, and administration, noting that his initiatives continue to inspire generations. “Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur is remembered as the architect of modern Tripura for his unmatched contributions in education, infrastructure, and governance. His visionary leadership and welfare-driven rule remain a source of inspiration even today,” Shah wrote.
