Agartala, July 27: In yet another tragic incident, massive fire broke out in the AC coach of Silchar-Agartala train on Saturday.

The incident took place after the passengers aboard jumped off their coaches here at Jogendra rail way station following the fire in the AC coach of the train. Soon after the train reached the Jogendranagar station from Silchar, the AC coach of the train caught fire to trigger panic among the passengers.

Although the cause of the fire is yet to be known, the situation was brought under control in an immediate action. Later, the train with all passengers departed for Agartala rail station from Jogendranagar.
