Among the key highlights was an inspection of the Plastic Waste Management Unit (PWMU) and innovative sanitation facilities, including toilets constructed entirely from plastic materials at Immanuel SB School, official sources said.

The delegation also visited the Paschim Champacherra Anganwadi Centre (AWC) to observe grassroots-level implementation of SBM(G) programmes.

According to officials, the visit promoted the exchange of ideas and best practices while strengthening inter-state cooperation aimed at sustainable development and cleaner communities.

Earlier on the day, the SBM(G) Assam team visited the Office of the District Magistrate & Collector, Khowai, and interacted with the DM regarding various sanitation and waste management initiatives.Â
