
In a move toward the overall development of Kalyanpur, the administration has taken another major step by officially handing over the designated site for the construction of the proposed two-storey multiplex complex building to the RD Department after an on-site inspection today.

According to officials, the proposed modern multiplex complex is expected to usher in a new chapter in Kalyanpur’s civic infrastructure. Once completed, the long-awaited project will provide residents with access to various administrative, social, and commercial services under one roof.

Speaking to the media, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, who inspected the site, said the administration is hopeful of completing the construction work within the next year.

“Development of Kalyanpur remains our top priority. We are committed to building modern infrastructure and delivering better services to the people of the area,” he said.

He further stated that the multiplex complex would not merely be a building, but a key foundation for Kalyanpur’s future growth. The project is also expected to accelerate economic and social activities in the region.

The inspection was attended by Asim Deb Roy, Nitai Bal, Somen Gop, along with officials from the concerned departments. They reviewed various aspects related to the construction and discussed measures for the early commencement of work.

A section of local residents said that successful implementation of the project could significantly transform the overall landscape of Kalyanpur.

Public representatives and officials present at the programme also sought the cooperation and support of all stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project.
