DIT gears up for 'Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026'

With just a week remaining for the Destination Tripura – Business Conclave 2026, the Directorate of Information Technology (DIT), Government of Tripura, has intensified preparations to ensure a strong showcase of the state's rapidly growing IT sector at the event.

On Thursday, Kiran Gitte, Secretary, Information Technology, along with Jeya Ragul Geshan B., Director, visited the International Fair Ground at Hapania, Agartala, the venue of the conclave scheduled for July 9 and 10, to review the overall arrangements and inspect the progress of the Directorate's dedicated IT Pavilion.

During the inspection, the officials assessed the ongoing works and reviewed the pavilion's readiness. 

According official sources, the IT Secretary provided valuable suggestions to further enhance the pavilion and ensure it is fully prepared to effectively present Tripura's digital capabilities and investment potential during the two-day conclave.

Earlier in the day, Director Jeya Ragul Geshan B. chaired a review meeting at the Smart Training Centre, IT Bhavan, Agartala, with the officials, consultants and other stakeholders to assess the status of preparations and coordinate the Directorate's participation in the event.

The IT Pavilion will serve as a key attraction at the business conclave, showcasing Tripura's expanding digital ecosystem, recent advancements in the Information Technology sector, and the wide range of investment opportunities available for businesses and technology companies.

The Directorate of Information Technology reaffirmed its commitment to presenting Tripura as an emerging destination for IT investments and innovation, highlighting the state's growing digital infrastructure and investor-friendly ecosystem during the conclave.
