Tributes paid to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on birth anniversary at Tripura BJP headquarters

The Tripura Pradesh BJP observed the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, revered as a guiding force of the party and a profound thinker, with a solemn tribute ceremony at the state party headquarters on Friday morning. 

Party leaders, office bearers, corporators and workers gathered to offer floral tributes at his portrait, marking the occasion with reverence and reflection.

The programme was attended by State BJP Vice‑President Ratan Ghosh, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumdar, State General Secretary Chandan Debnath, Deputy Mayor Manika Das Dutta, Sadar District BJP president Asim Bhattacharjee, along with other senior leaders and grassroots workers.

Speakers at the event highlighted Upadhyaya’s life, philosophy and political vision, stressing his emphasis on the welfare of the last person in society and holistic development through his doctrine of “Integral Humanism” and the principle of “Antyodaya”. They noted that his ideas continue to inspire BJP workers to dedicate themselves to the upliftment of the marginalised and underprivileged.

Vice‑President Ratan Ghosh, addressing the media after the ceremony, elaborated on Upadhyaya’s contributions to political thought and society. He underlined the relevance of his ideals in contemporary times, pointing out that the philosophy of inclusive growth and service to humanity remains central to the BJP’s organisational ethos.

The tribute ceremony concluded with party leaders reaffirming their commitment to carry forward Upadhyaya’s vision, pledging to work for social harmony, development and welfare in line with his teachings. The event was marked by a spirit of respect and remembrance, reinforcing the ideological foundation that continues to guide the party’s activities.
