West Tripura DM inspects civic works in Jirania Sub-Division

Dr. Vishal Kumar, IAS, District Magistrate & Collector of West Tripura, carried out a comprehensive field inspection across Jirania R.D. Block on Friday to review the progress of development projects and assess the delivery of government services at the grassroots level.

The inspection began at Nalgaria Market and extended to several key sites, including Paschim Ranigaon S.B. School, Majlishpur Anganwadi Centre, the under-construction Gram Panchayat building, multiple CC road projects, Harijoy Chowdhury Park, and the Brajanagar Ayushman Arogya Mandir Health Sub-Centre.

During the visit, Dr. Kumar examined the status of ongoing civic works, evaluated infrastructure facilities, and interacted with local residents, elected representatives, and officials. He emphasized the importance of timely implementation of government schemes, improvement of civic amenities, and strengthening service delivery mechanisms to meet community needs.

The field tour concluded with a review meeting at Uttar Majlishpur Gram Panchayat, where the District Magistrate held detailed discussions with officials and stakeholders. He directed follow-up actions to accelerate project completion and ensure accountability in execution.

Meanwhile, officials noted that such inspections reflect the administration’s commitment to responsive governance, continuous monitoring, and efficient execution of welfare initiatives, reinforcing the goal of inclusive development across West Tripura.
