Mega Eye & Health Camp held at Lake Chowmuhani Market: Agartala Mayor praises organizers

A large-scale eye and health camp was organized on Saturday at Lake Chowmuhani Market, bringing essential medical services closer to the public. The initiative, undertaken by the local market committee, aimed at making healthcare more accessible to ordinary citizens.

The camp offered eye check-ups, general health examinations, and medical consultations, drawing significant participation from residents of the area. Doctors and volunteers worked throughout the day to provide free services and guidance.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumder, Councillor Bhaswati Debbarma, and Market Committee Secretary Shyamal Saha, along with other dignitaries.

Speaking to reporters, Mayor Majumder praised the organizers for their commitment to social welfare. He remarked that beyond professional duties, every individual has a responsibility to contribute to society, and such initiatives reflect the spirit of collective responsibility.
