TRLM introduces new initiative to support aspiring women entrepreneurs

In an ambitious move, the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission has launched a new initiative aimed at supporting aspiring women entrepreneurs across the state.

The initiative- TRLM Incubator Programme seeks to empower women members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) by providing the necessary support to transform their business ideas into successful ventures.

Officials said women-led manufacturing and service enterprises will be eligible for financial assistance of up to Rs. 10 lakh through grants and interest-free loans. In addition, beneficiaries will receive 18 months of expert mentorship and handholding support.

In a social media post, TRLM mentioned, "Whether it’s local products, textiles, food processing, handicrafts, or essential services — this is your chance to grow, innovate, and succeed. Your entrepreneurial dreams matter, and TRLM is ready to support your journey towards self-reliance and sustainable livelihood."

Meanwhile, TRLM continues to roll out various initiatives focused on strengthening women’s empowerment through SHGs and entrepreneurship. These efforts are playing a significant role in transforming the lives of rural women across Tripura.
