VC polls: List of draft polling stations published

The draft list of polling stations for the upcoming Village Committee general elections under the TTAADC has been published, officials of the State Election Department said on Wednesday.

According to the department, a total of 1,540 polling stations have been identified across 52 blocks in the state for the elections.

Among the blocks, Manu has the highest number of polling stations with 87, followed by Jampuijala with 81 polling stations, officials said.

Rajnagar and Bharat Chandra Nagar blocks have been allotted two polling stations each, while Kalachhara block has three polling stations, the officials added.

The elections are slated to be held in June 2026 as per the direction of the Supreme Court.
