ADB team meets Tripura CM, discusses new project TULIP

A delegation of Asian Development Bank (ADB) met Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha in Agartala on Friday.

During discussions, the Chief Minister reviewed an upcoming ADB-funded project- Tripura Urban Livability Improvement Project (TULIP).

ADB Mission Headed by Manoj Sharma, Director Water & Urban Sector, ADB along with his team- Sorin Chung, UD Specialist ADB, Bhavesh Kumar, Sr Project Officer ADB, Bing Safeguard specialist ADB etc and officials of govt Tripura were present in the meeting at the TIFT Conference Hall.

The new project TULIP will be implemented by Agartala Municipal Corporation, Tripura Urban Development Authority (TUDA) and Jal Board, according to sources.

On Thursday, the ADB delegation inspected the MBB College Lake project and the ICCC project of Agartala Smart City Ltd. under the Agartala Smart City Mission.

The ADB Delegates were accompanied by the Secretary (UDD), Commissioner (TUDA), CEO (ASCL), and other officials.
