
The Office of the Postmaster General, North East-I Region has announced that a regional-level Postal Adalat will be held in Agartala on June 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM to address customer grievances related to postal services.

The Adalat, to be held at the Postmaster General’s office in Agartala (PIN 799001), is designed to provide a dedicated platform for resolving complaints concerning postal operations, savings schemes, and postal life insurance.

Customers wishing to participate must submit written complaints by 4:30 PM on June 2, 2026. Submissions can be made via ordinary post, Speed Post, or email (pmgagartala@gmail.com). Envelopes should be clearly marked “Postal Adalat” and addressed to the Postmaster General, North East-I Region.

Complaints must include complete details such as the complainant’s full address and registration receipt number. For cases related to savings accounts or insurance policies, the account or policy number and depositor details are mandatory. Complaints received after the deadline will be processed through the usual departmental procedure.
