
State's Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury spent Sunday visiting households in his Majlishpur Assembly constituency, personally connecting with residents and taking stock of their well-being. At the residence of party worker Ratan Pal, whose mother recently passed away due to age-related illness, the minister offered his condolences and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Later, he visited the home of Monindra Debnath, whose son Ram Debnath (31) died unexpectedly. Expressing deep sorrow, Chowdhury described the incident as heartbreaking and conveyed his sympathy to the grieving family.

The minister also called on party worker Sukanta Debnath, who was seriously injured in an accident. He enquired about Sukanta’s health condition and wished him a speedy recovery.
