
Under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is moving towards further development through the implementation of various public welfare projects, said Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Tuesday.
The Minister said that India has already become the fourth-largest economy in the world.
“On the instructions of the Prime Minister, the state government is also working for the welfare of the people,” he added.
Minister said this while addressing a three-day municipal-level public welfare camp organized at the Mohanpur Municipal Council office.
The Agriculture Minister stated that various projects of the Central and State governments are being implemented for the welfare of the people of the state.
“Work is constantly going on to improve the socio-economic condition of the people and make them self-reliant,” he said.
The Minister also informed that there are currently about 56,000 self-help groups in the state.
“1.08 lakh women have already become ‘Lakhpati Didis’. The Prime Minister has given special importance to the development of four sections of society: women, youth, farmers, and the poor. He has initiated the vision of building a Viksit Bharat by 2047. He called upon everyone to extend support to this mission,” he added.
